3. Let A, B and C is three sets. If A belongs to B and B ᴄ C, it is true that A ᴄ C, If not give an example?  (2)

4. Draw a Venn diagram of ( A Ç B )’?  (2)

5. Assume that P ( A )= P ( B ). Show that A=B?  (3)

6. Is it true that for any set A and B, P ( A ) Ç P ( B ) = P ( A Ç B ) ? Justify your answer.  (3)

7. Let A and B be a set. If A  Ç X = B Ç X = Ø and A È X = B È X for the same set X , show that A = B.   (3)

8.In a survey of 60 people, it was found that 25 people read newspaper H, 26 read newspaper I, 26 read newspaper T, 9 read both H and I, 11 read both H and T, 8 read both T and I, 3 read all the newspapers. Find-       (4)

(a) the no. of people who read at least one newspaper.

(b)the no. of people who read exactly one newspaper.
